Curvy Truchet Tiles
Standard Truchet tiles are squares divided in half along a diagonal, with each half a different color. They are named for the French priest and mathematician Sébastian Truchet, who studied ways of arranging these tiles next to each other.
There are many variations. These are divided by quarter circles between two opposite corners. In each set of 25, some have the larger subdivision blue, the smaller brown; and some are vice versa. Pictured here are just a few of the many many beautiful patterns you can make with 25 tiles.
These are time consuming to make, so they are limited edition.
